Walter Griot
Walter Griot grew up in 80s Berlin among a traditional Senegalese Griot family. He was therefore from an early age exposed to various African percussion instruments like the Djembe and Sabar drums, the Kora or the Balafon. These sounds together with various other musical elements from Africa and the African diaspora are the foundation of his house and techno production and DJ Sets. He is part of the Berlin based RISE collective together with Hyenah, Floyd Lavine, Dede, Minco and Jamiie
