Vera Sola is an American/Canadian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and recording artist. Originally a poet who studied under Jorie Graham at Harvard University, she is known for her lyricism as well as her wide vocal range and unique vibrato. A masterful storyteller that exudes an effortless mystique, she is often compared to Nick Cave for her dark topics and intense stage presence and Leonard Cohen for unique finger-picking style on guitar. She performed, produced and arranged everything on her debut album Shades, which was self-released in 2018.
