Orchestral Academy of the Czech Philharmonic

In 2008 was founded Orchestral Academy of the Prague Philharmonia, which aims to seek out talented musicians and provide them with education and practical experience in an orchestra. The first year of this unique project has demonstrated that the implementation of the course was the right choice. The absence of a similar institute in the Czech Republic, which would in educational terms cover the difficult period of transition from high school or conservatory to professional life was reflected in enorním interest of young musicians to integrate into the course. The high professional level of the selected students form an excellent foundation to deepen their knowledge and designing artistic horizons, while also allows full extension PKF member of rows in each project. With this mutual influence is now able to achieve results often beyond the original scope of the course, an orchestra or even the very borders of our country. Such results, unquestionably, the success of two members of the Orchestral Academy, James Fiser and Andrew Martinovského, which ranked among the winners of a unique project "YouTube Symphony Orchestra". Together with other 90 selected musicians from around the world were invited to perform on the 15th On April concert in New York's famous Carnegie Hall under the baton of reno-movaného conductor Michael Tilson Thomas.
