Joe McKee

Guitarist and one of the leaders of the Australian band Snowman Joe McKee gave themselves heard about a year after the dissolution of the group, because only in Australia published a collection Burning Boy. This, however, from the creation of the original group of different as night and day, instead of nervous pulsating temp brings calm hazy melodies, instead of wildly orgasmic screams pleasantly sloppy vocals. Album slightly reminds creation of Syd Barrett or Roy Harper, psychedelia here meets with echoes of English folklore and weird country mood. But talent is obvious, Joe McKee, along with Garth Liddiard (The Drones) and Conrad Standish (Devastation) is one of Australia's most significant artists of recent years.
