Fort VII of the Torun Fortress - the main artillery fort, built under the name Fort IV Friedrich der Grosse. Around 15 October 1939, the German occupiers organised a camp for interned civilians (German: Internierungslager) on the grounds of the fort. In 1976, a memorial chamber was set up on the grounds of Fort VII, now no longer accessible to tourists.
