Tribute to Polski Jazz
The Tribute to Polish Jazz project had its premiere during the first edition of the Mrowna Jazz Festival in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. The creator and artistic director of the project is Tomasz Mądzielewski. The idea behind Tribute to Polski Jazz is to show the influence of Polish musicians on the development of jazz music. Young, talented artists take listeners on a journey through the compositions of Polish electric jazz of the 1970s and 1980s, presenting them in modern arrangements. They play works by such artists as Wojciech Karolak, Zbigniew Namysłowski and Jarosław Śmietana.
