Tomasz Strahl
Polish cellist. He collaborates with Krzysztof Jakowicz, the Wilanów Quartet, the Silesian Quartet, the Royal String Quartet and the Prima Vista Quartet. He is a co-founder of the Chopin Duo duo together with the pianist Krzysztof Jabłoński. In 1993 he performed Witold Lutosławski's cello concerto in the presence of the composer under the direction of Mirosław Jacek Błaszczyk. In 2005, he performed in the Polish premiere of Piotr Moss' Cello Concerto No. 2 at the Festival of First Performances with the National Symphony Orchestra of the Polish Radio. He has given concerts in Finland, Switzerland, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Spain, Great Britain, Ukraine, Belarus, Kuwait and Israel, as well as Canada and Japan.
