Tilidin
Berlin punk rock with migration foreground. How could one describe the band better than they do it themselves? The roots of the members reach back to Italy, Israel, Russia, Uzbekistan and thus the former Soviet Union.
Parallel to the founding of the band, the drug tilidine rose to become a trend drug among Berlin adolescents. The press made headlines such as ''Migrant drug conquered Berlin'' and thus provided a suitable name.
Looking for their own sound, the band wanted to distract themselves from gastronomy jobs and Hartz IV applications and let it out in the rehearsal room. The result is punk rock with a juicy portion of Dirty Rock'n'Roll Drive. Lyrically, they use the mother tongues and English here and there, but most of the lyrics are in German and are presented in a snotty style in the style of Berlin slang.
