The Spirit
MT (vocals, guitar), AK (guitar), AT (bass) and MS (drums) founded in 2015 in Saarbrücken the band, which they named The Spirit. Underneath it there is an excellent misishmash of black metal and melodic metal based on the Swedish pattern. The first name that appears in the head after listening to the quartet's music is Dissection. Then there are associations with uncompromising black metal from neighboring Norway. From the influence of these two genres Germans created something that immediately attracts and delights. Besides, they are great musicians with great sense. First they released their debut album Sounds From The Vortex in 2017, which was released several months later with the Nuclear Blast logo, because the label, after encountering The Spirit, rightly decided that a portion of such good music had to be presented to the whole world. Because although it is based on proven patents, it is fresh, honest and full of passion.
