The Italo Connection
Italo Connection is a South Tyrolean band whose musical style lies somewhere between southern Italian burial music, Morricone, Tarantino and Celentano. The mostly seven-headed troupe makes a wild mixture of Jestofunk, Zawinul and Rimini-Disco and like to improvise. Band members are Herbert Pixner (Diatonic, clarinet, trumpet, percussion), Alex Trebo (keyboards, piano), Max Castlunger (percussion), Martl Resch (saxophone, vocals), Mario Punzi (drums), Marco Stagni (bass) and Manuel Randi (Guitar).
