Szarek/Szumny
The electronic project formed in March 2019 by Paweł Szarek and Rafał Szumny, inspired by the synthetic sounds of the 80s and early 90s, the tradition of German and French electro, as well as the achievements of Polish composers such as Biliński or Łosowski. Szarek / Szumny are two synthesizers and live eletronics; heavy, dirty beats of dance flow and dark, nostalgic melody rooted in the era of vhs and exploitation movies. The duo released their debut EP Black Highways in May 2019, a new single End Credits To The Endgame appeared in September with the voice of jazz vocalist Kai Karaplios, and the premiere of the second, this time long-playing album, is scheduled for winter 2020.
