Stowarzyszenie Pedagogów Teatru

The mission of the Theatre Pedagogues Association is to show that theatre can be a place to learn about and comment on the contemporary world, an opportunity to work together with different people and groups, to reflect, experiment, meet others, meet with oneself.

Since 2010, they have been developing in practice and theory the idea of theatre pedagogy. They carry out original artistic and social projects, cooperate with cultural institutions and organizations all over Poland. They invent and implement original pedagogical-theatrical, theatrical and performative projects. They train and inspire teachers, actors, activists, theatre instructors and cultural animators. They conduct theatre and pedagogical-theatre workshops for school classes, creative groups, families, children, youth, seniors, institutions and theatres. They work with local communities, based on attentive and appreciative observation of their specificity and culture, and propose theatrical forms of joint action that emerge from their local potential. They write about theatre pedagogy, its values and examples of practice.
