Spreehalle

With the Spreehalle Berlin on the listed former AEG factory site, internationally renowned artists of the contemporary avant-garde find a free, cross-genre production and performance space for performance, music theater, dance, installations and electronics. All projects are transcultural and transmedial in character and are always committed to social relevance.

The Sprehalle is also the home of the Marc Sinan Company (MS/C), which realizes regional, national and international, transtraditional and transmedial music theater productions. The site is located in the new creative quarter on the banks of the Spree in Oberschöneweide, in the immediate vicinity of the Reinbeckhallen. After decades of transition following the fall of the Berlin Wall, innovative and energetic art, music and performance art of social driving force is now produced here.
