Somewhen
Somewhen belongs to the new Berlin techno generation, in which original themes of the genre are continued, but whose meanings are adapted to the post-modern context. Futurism and nostalgia are two traditional techno motifs, which consciously come together in the work of the producer, DJ and label operator.
In 2014, Somewhen not only impressed with the Kobalt track of his debut EP 9, but also the second release (99) on his own label Sana. It presented a conceptual and character-strong artist, driven by a sophisticated tonal language. It is not only the search for sometimes decorative, sometimes complex sounds that give the Somewhen sound a distinctive soul, but also the path he has gone down so far.
