Serpentyne
Serpentyne was created in London in 2010, inspired by a combination of early, folk and metal music. Fronted by classically trained soprano singer Maggiebeth Sand, Serpentyne combine a unique mix of symphonic and folk metal styles, with themed songs about historical figures and legends, such as Boudicca, The Valkyries, Helen of Troy, and Joan of Arc, amongst many others. Their inspiration range from medieval music through folk metal to the likes of Nightwish and Within Temptation. Serpentyne have released four studio albums, the latest being 2019's Angels of the Night.
