Scott Matthew

Scott William Matthew is a singer-songwriter from Australia. He was a member of alternative pop band Elva Snow (2001–2006), which he co-founded with Spencer Cobrin. He provided vocals on songs for the soundtrack of the animation-serial Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Cowboy Bebop: Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door. Matthew also contributed to the original soundtrack of John Cameron Mitchell's dark sexual comedy Shortbus (2006), which includes five of his tracks. His self-titled solo debut was released in 2008. For his Christmas-EP Silent Nights (2008) he invited his Australian friend and meanwhile superstar Sia for a duet. In 2013 he released the album Unlearned, that contains cover versions of his personal hit parade.
