Scott Hamilton
Scott Hamilton is a swing champion. In 1977 he founded his own quartet, which after a while formed into a quintet. In the same year, he was heard by Carl Jefferson, producer and founder of Concord. Since then, to this day, for over forty years, Scott has been recording his records for Concord. On the way, he created albums with Dave McKenna, Jake Hanna, Woody Herman, Tony Bennett, Gerry Mulligan, Flip Phillips, Maxine Sullivan, Buddy Tate, Warren Vache. Over the years, Scott has performed and recorded with such bands as Concord Jazz All Stars, Concord Super Band and George Wein's Newport Jazz Festival All Stars.
