At the beginning of October 2013, the Academy of Music in Łódź put into operation a new Concert Hall, built as part of a project co-financed by the European Union. The university has gained five and a half thousand square meters of modern and comfortable space for work and study for its students and teachers, Łódź and the region - a new friendly place for music. It is here that the largest and most spectacular artistic events of the Lodz Academy take place: from symphonic and jazz concerts to musicals and opera productions. AŻ Festival is also connected with the Concert Hall. Its name also includes the address of the event: A-Ż - Akademia na Żubardzkiej. Organized since 2013, it is a great opportunity to present new artistic projects of the Academy, often implemented with the participation of invited guests.
