Route 8 + Imre Kiss + Jimmy Asquith
The London-based label Lobster Theremin, concentrates beat eccentrics from all over the world. It will be introduced by its founder, Jimmy Asquith (also known under the pseudonym Tom Hang and as a member of the Chicago Flotation Device) at the iconic Neone Club. Asquith’s work pays tribute to the Detroit techno. His protégé, the Hungarian producer Route 8, excels in sophisticated techno with electro overlaps and his EP Dry Thoughts became a great success on the club scene. Imre Kiss was born in southern Slovakia but he considers Budapest his home. In 2015, he brought attention to himself with the album Midnight Wave that is full of nocturnal trips to lo-fi techno landscapes.
