In 2016 Rose Bonica delved into music, mentored by her label partner Big Space, she set out to become a full time producer in the time of DJs.
Her first release on the Wet Dreams Recordings compilation Work Not Hype had her amongst heavyweights such as Altered Natives, Jumping Back Slash and Big Space.
Her impressive rise through the Cape Town music scene has been prominent through her continuous raw and infectious releases, coupled with her dark and energetic creative side.
