Info o Robert Gläser
Robert Gläser is the man with the imperturbable optimism, the annoying desire to quarrel and the ever-bubbling source of ideas. But also the sensitive fine spirit and cynic, who gets shaken by defeats from time to time, but never stopped.
Born in Leipzig, the bassist, singer, composer and producer founded his first band as a twelve-year-old, sat on drums with the Leipzig punk band L'Attentat, learned to play bass and guitar and was discovered by his father as a "bassist with a future" at the age of thirteen. In his Father Cäsar's last GDR band before leaving for West Berlin, he played the bass.
After the turnaround, Robert Gläser experienced the ups and downs of a music career. Since 1998 he has been the creative motor of the German rock band Six and works as a guest musician, producer, arranger and songwriter. Around the turn of the millennium, he released several recordings as a singer with his band Sonnenbrand und Hubschrauber, along with his brother Moritz Peter Gläser. The latest foundation (2015) is the Cäsar revival project Apfeltraum, also with Moritz.
