Roads & Shoes
Guitarist Johanna Eicker and cellist Linda Laukamp are Roads & shoes. Traveling internationally in many projects, they have seen many streets and airports and realized that good footwear is indispensable for such a workload. The two artists got to know each other in 2011 during a band project and quickly realized that it was worth doing something together, and musically in the first place. The songs almost flew close to them, an ineffable chemistry between them allowed them to be honest with each other unconditionally. The results are fragile yet catchy songs, stories from the emotional world that they could put into words with little effort.
