Founded in 2021 by the guitarist and main composer Krzysztof „Chris” Michalak and vocalist Karol "Ulcer" Cieślik, Repulsive might be a new addition to the extreme metal scene in Poland, but the musicians behind it are far from being new to the business. Inspired by American death metal scene, with a touch of grindcore, Repulsive represents similiar brutality and intensity, deprived of any ideological or philosophical background. The power of the band lies in the simplicity of their message, though their music, compositions and song structures are far from being simple.
