Rancid
California legend Rancid was formed in 1991 when two members of Operation Ivy, Tim Armstrong and Matt Freeman, joined forces with drummer Brett Reed. At the beginning, Rancid rode the wave of the great return of punk rock like The Offspring or Green Day, but unlike them remained there throughout his faithful underground.
Even their second album Let's Go, 1994 was a success, but only board ... And Out Come the Wolves, the band released in 1995, fired the incredible punk Rancid fame. Hits like Time Bomb and Ruby Soho is now one of the absolute classics. Rancid later experimented with other musical styles such as roots reggae, hip-hop, ska, rockabilly (especially in the fourth studio album Life Will not Wait), and until 2004 toured relentlessly. After a year break that followed, there is a change in the position of drummer Brett Reed replaced when Branden Steineckert, who still plays with Rancid. Meanwhile the band's latest album, Let the Dominoes Fall, was released in 2008 and together they are so proud of Rancid seven studio albums. With four million records sold is one of the absolutely most successful punk bands of all time.
