Poimprezka

Poimprezka is the songwriting outlet of guitarist and vocalist Rafał Loska, which has alternated between a solo project and quartet form at various points in its existance. Poimprezka's sound can best be described by comparing it to early Midwest emo of the likes of Sunny Day Real Estate and alt rock ballads of the 1990s - Loska's raspy falsetto is combined here with nostalgic affectations and lyrics, as he jokingly describes, about feelings, emotions etc.. Poimprezka is associated with the experimental Warsaw-based label Enjoy Life.
