Plaiins
PLAIINS is a punk band based in Hamburg, Germany. Their music style is all about aggression, big riffs, infectious hooks, and crazy vocals from frontman Chris Reardon. The band mixes influences from the likes of Queens Of The Stone Age, Turnstile and IDLES, with their own blend of different cultural backgrounds. The band members are from the UK/ Hong Kong, Israel and Germany.
PLAIINS keep things simple with a rule that every riff should be singable and the sound of the band should be recognisable. Although the band only formed in 2021, their sound is already very formed and distinct. On stage, they play with relentless power and a controlled like explosion. Frontman Reardon’s vocals are patched through guitar and FX pedals, feedback loops and high gain riffs mixed with ripping bass tones and relentless drum bashing.
