Peter Ablinger

Very original music of Peter Ablinger (*1959) on the edge of composition and sound-art in recent years enjoyed increasing attention in major festivals. Monumental, increasingly augmented series Voices and Piano for piano and recorded authentic voices of various personalities in world history belongs to Ablinger emblematic compositions. The author uses a very unconventional way of computer analysis of sound for a purely acoustic piano part.
