Paweł Dobrowolski
Born in 1977 in Tarnow, Poland, he is a Polish percussionist. Graduate of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, in Adam Buczek's percussion class. Since 2006 he has been associated with Anna Maria Jopek's band. He has collaborated with many artists, including such names as: Marek Napiórkowski, Michał Urbaniak, Zbigniew Namysłowski, Janusz Muniak, Tomasz Szukalski, Włodek Pawlik, Nigel Kennedy, Terence Blanchard, Randy Brecker, Richard Bona, Dhafer Youssef, Mino Cinelu, Jeff Beck, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Gil Goldstein, Makoto Ozone, Jacques Schwarz-Bart, Gordon Haskell, Brad Terry. He has toured with the NDR Bigband and Maria Schneider Orchestra, among others. He has performed in Europe, Australia, Japan, Korea, China, Indonesia, Singapore, Lebanon. To date, he has more than 30 recorded album credits. He has been invited several times to participate in Polish and foreign television programs.
