Parade Ground
Parade Ground are a Belgian band, created by two brothers , Jean-Marc Pauly and Pierre Pauly in 1981. They were pioneers of cold wave and EBM. Their first single Moan on the sly, was released in 1983 and they remained active until now, although they decided not to release anything between 1988 and 2007, being involved in other artistic projects such as writing and plastic art. Their style evolved during the years 1980 passing from an icy and radical cold wave to more danceable sound with stressed rhythmics and exclusively synthetic melodies, sustained by an ironical dadaist visual. The band have acquired a solid live reputation.
