OYE Records
While in the early 2000s the musical focus of OYE Records was particularly on Latin and Brazilian music, the label and its record store with its two branches in Kreuzberg and Prenzlauer Berg developed into one of the most important places to go for house, techno, disco and related music. OYE has long sold more than just records. Various own labels were founded out of the environment of the stores - among them imprints like Box Aus Holz, OYE Edits or Money $ex Records. In addition, an in-house party series was created, which specializes in vinyl sets.
