As the founder on Hong Kong-based imprint Cliche Records, Ouissam was one of the first in the city to cultivate a disco-house-techno synthesis that has changed the local understanding of dance music. He went of to creating the Homesick and Fragrant Harbor labels, before moving to Hanoi in Vietnam, where he has established the dance mecca Savage and runs the monthly queer night Snug. Besides, he curates the Equation festival.
