Orishas is a Cuban hip-hop band. It existed from 1999-2009 and then celebrated its comeback again in 2016. They combine modern hip-hop elements with Cuban folk music. The name comes from a homonymous goddess of the Santeria faith (a mixture of Catholicism and African religions). Her debut album A lo Cubano is from 1999.
