Olivia Mendez
Olivia Mendez began her career through her passion for digging vinyls. Raised in a family of music aficionados and record collectors, Olivia naturally began building her own collection, exploring all the branches of electronic music as well as jazz, afro beat, contemporary and experimental sounds.
From 2006 to 2012, she spent several years in London, discovering the city's club world and its IDM, drum'n'bass and techno events. Her passion for electronic music grew even stronger. In 2011, Olivia began working as a music journalist and in 2013 created an online magazine dealing specifically with electronic music: Stellar Fugitives. She began her DJ career with playing at a free event, bringing a couple thousand visitors to the chapel of an abandoned school. In 2015 she moved to Berlin, in 2016 she became resident of Lyon's Particules event series.
