Obituary is an American death metal band, founded in 1984, Florida under the name Executioner. After some time the name changed to Xecutioner, and then to the Obituary. The band consists of guitarist Trevor Peres, bass player Frank Watkins, vocalist John Tardy, guitarist Ralph Santoll and drummer Donald Tardy.
