Nowe Zoo

New Zoo in Poznań - the second largest zoological garden in Poland, founded in 1974 on Biała Góra, the eastern wedge of greenery of Poznań, in the area unit SIM Malta. It covers an area of 120.68 ha located in a hilly forest area with six extensive ponds with a total area of over 13 ha, constituting the natural habitat of national fauna. The New Zoo is famous for its collection of birds of prey and owls, which belongs to one of the richest in Europe.
