Neue Gesellschaft für Bildende Kunst - nGbK
The nGbK (Eng: new association of visual arts) is one of the biggest and most influential art associations of Germany, and is located in the Berlin district Kreuzberg. It was founded in 1969 and its structures are based on grassroots democracy which allows all members of the association to have an influence on the exhibited content and events. Among other things, socially and politically relevant issues are being expressed through contemporary and experimental art.
