MUCC
MUCC is one of the best known Japanese bands overseas. Founded in 1997, the band originally belonged to the so-called visual kei trend, which was visually distinctive for its sombre outfits, but quickly abandoned it in favour of less extreme aesthetics and more sound experiments. Tatsurou (vocals), Miya (guitar), Yukke (bass guitar), and Satochi (drums) draw on hard rock, Metal, nu-metal, pop, modern electronics, industrial, and even blues in their songs. They have released several albums, including Houyoku (2005), Gokusai (2006) and Sin Tsuuzetsu (2017).
