MovieGate
The MovieGate artefact gallery is a space in the basement of Wrocław's Plac Solny, which was created out of our love for the magic of cinematography and the art of illusion. It constantly hosts a huge number of real props from the most popular film productions; a visit to its space will allow you to see, up close, the props and costumes that build the magic of the world depicted in the films. Original props, set pieces and items from major blockbusters such as Star Wars, Alien and Saw make up the exhibition housed within the walls of a historic site – a German shelter from the Second World War. The museum space also preserves original fluorescent lettering, equipment, uniforms and costumes from the war period - including Europe's only surviving real chemical suit.
