Morświn

The core of the Kraków, Poland band Morświn consists of Malgorzata "Tekla" Tekiel (bass), Polish Gen X poet laureate Marcin Świetlicki (voice) and free improv veteran Paulina Owczarek (baritone saxophone). Its full lineup is rotating, however, and Morświn's debut album Rewolucjaaa (2021) was recoded with 14 members. The group's non-idiomatic, disquieting music oscillates around Świetlicki's characteristically caustic and disillusioned observations.
