Mork
Norwegian Mork is a pupil of the legendary Peaceville label, which started operating in 2004 on the initiative of Thomas Eriksen. The background for creating black metal sounds was the beautiful, picturesque Norwegian town of Halden, which apart from beautiful views and nearby forests, also boasts the most humane prison in the world. Mork refers to the native black metal classics in the style of early Burzum and Darkthrone, focusing on minimalistic, repetitive compositions with harsh Norwegian vocals. Since 2019, Eriksen's concerts have been supported by Asgeir Mickelson, known from Borknagar, Ihsahn and Spiral Architect among others.
