Moonspell
Moonspell was founded in 1992. It has 11 studio albums. Starting from sounds close to black metal, today the Portuguese create music, which is most often described as dark metal, gothic metal, or atmospheric metal. In Portugal the band has a cult status. Four Moonspell albums climbed to the top of album charts, and Memorial (2006) was covered with gold. The current incarnation of the band is: Fernando Ribeiro, Miguel Gaspar (drums), Pedro Paixão (keyboards, samples), Ricardo Amorim (guitar) and Aires Pereira (bass guitar).
