Monty Luke

Monty Luke is an artist exploring the space beyond the assumed boundaries of electronic dance music. He began his career in Brooklyn and quickly gained attention all across the West coast with his raw, pumping sound.

He began producing in the early 2000s, releasing What U Feel alongside Sam Urton under the Loopwrecks moniker. After several follow-up releases Monty decided to relocate to Detroit, the birth place of techno music in 2008. There, he founded his own label Black Catalogue.
