Modernmoon

Modernmoon is a female duo playing electronic music. Maria sings forgotten songs of robots from the neighboring dimension, Michalina operates the machines, decoding forbidden for homo sapiens music spheres. Songs about love, death, petrol, jellyfish, heavy combat machines, suffocating dreams in a cheap, roadside motel. Their lyrics and visual environment are clearly inspired by science-fiction and cyberpunk. The sound oscillates between the synth of the 1980s and the oneiric atmosphere of new electronics. Strong vocals, dense sound matter and haunted poetry of the future, which has never happened. The band was formed in 2013. After four years of activity, the debut album – Night Train, made in Hagal Studio, with the invaluable help of Jacek Sokołowski and Gosia Florczak from Rigor Mortis was released. In April, Modernmoon released a music video – a miniature film with a single sound Wreck of Antoinette. The girls performed in the company of bands such as Clan od Xymox, Psyche, Elsiane, Das Moon or Augen X.
