MirMix Orkeztan
The guys from far-out Orkeztan throw elements from all over the world into their artistic melting pot. Out of that bubble grooves of beats and bass, swell catchy hooks of the wind section and billow chants in eight languages. Paul Linke a.k.a. Interpaul once had the idea of the musical world mix that shall tear down the cultural borders and unite the dancing crowd, wherever the people may come from - the "Mir" in the name means "world" as well as "peace" in Russian language. Since then a band arose as something which inherently incarnates the cooperation of the nations: The eight musicians come from Western Europe, from (Ex-) Soviet areas, from the Middle East, as well as Latin-America.
