Miejski Ośrodek Sztuki
Since 2002, Miejski Ośrodek Sztuki has been active in the fields of visual arts and film, continuing the tradition of Biuro Wystaw Artystycznych, which was established in Gorzów Wielkopolski in 1980. The Municipal Art Centre organises exhibitions of contemporary art by artists with significant creative achievements, promotes young artists and runs a studio cinema, presenting films outside the mainstream. The institution has the second largest collection of Władysław Hasior's works in Poland, consisting of 31 works of art. In addition, it familiarises the residents of Gorzów and the surrounding area with contemporary phenomena around art and film through educational initiatives in the form of workshops, lectures, discussions, presentations, performances, film screenings and activities in the public space.
