Michał Tokaj
Michal Tokaj was born in 1974 in Warsaw, where he currently continues to live. He is the winner of numerous awards, including Most Promising Young Group at the Europe Jazz Contest in Hoelaart, Belgium. He performed all over the world and recorded with many of Poland's top jazz musicians, as well as internationally renowned stars like Eddie Henderson, Victor Lewis and Bennie Maupin. His album won a Fryderyk Award (called the "Polish Grammy") in the Jazz Album of the Year category, and brought him a nomination for Jazz Musician of the Year.
