Michał Joniec
Poznan experimental musician whose practice includes electroacoustic and improvised music, focusing on the use of field recordings and objects. He has focused his rhythmic explorations since his early youth on djembe and darbouka drums. Currently, he works mainly with metal objects of random origin, infiltrating the audiosphere of abandoned factories, dead ends of construction sites, ghost buildings, closed lifeboats, devastated urban and sacred spaces. A long-time member of the kakofoNIKT collective, he has also played and performed with Hubert Wińczyk, Piotr Mełech and Piotr Tkacz, among others.
