Metal Doctrine Festival 2023

Metal Doctrine Festival is back. The first band announced for the fifth edition, which will take place at Katowice's P23, is I Am Morbid - a project by members of the classic line-up of death metal giants Morbid Angel, vocalist and bassist David Vincent and drummer Pete Sandoval, whose main focus is to continue the path they took in the mid-1980s. I Am Morbid will perform a set celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of Morbid Angel's third LP Covenant, a seminal part of their career and death metal as a whole. Grzegorz Kupczyk & CETI will play a special concert to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the album Dorosłe dzieci – the legendary album by the band Turbo. You will also be able to hear Iperyt, who return to the stage in the original line-up after more than 10 years since their last performance, as well as Offence, Sceptic, Singapore's Impiety, Switzerland's Nihilo and Embryo, an Italian project by George Kollias.
