Melmann
Nicolás Melmann, composer and sound artist, creates sonic collages using electronic instruments, physical objects, sensors, unconventional instruments, field recordings and spoken word. Live, Melmann, a multi-instrumentalist, transforms himself into a one-man orchestra, creating sonic collages from loops of traditional instruments (crystal harp, bawu, koto, lyre, percussion), electronic instruments and visuals. As a graduate of the Red Bull Music Academy, Melmann has performed at the Metropolitan Art Museum of New York, opening a concert by Alva Noto and Ryuichi Sakamoto.
