MelluSya is a band that gives contemporary poetry musical colours - it brings out sensuality, intimacy and beauty. The five musicians are united by their love for subtle beauty. The soft vocal of Kai Mianova interprets the lyrics in a way that triggers reverie and calm. Vlasta Traczyk writes melodies with Slavic sensitivity and sets them in jazzy harmonies. The songs they perform tell the story of a man's relationship with time, his own life, and other people. They write to lyrics eternally alive in their poems: Edgar Allan Poe, Emily Dickinson, Anna Achmatowa, Julia Hartwig and Christine de Pisan and contemporary poetry such as Juliusz Erasmus Bolk, Maria Piotrowska and Marta Zdrada.
